About 5pm tonight I put my shoes and jacket on to go pick up some FC diapers across Herndon Parkway. I wanted to go sans children, but of course Eli piped up, "Mommy, I wanna come!"

"Oh Eli," I moaned, "Can't you just stay at home? I'll only be gone for a minute."

"Mommy, I love you. That's why I like to go places with you."
